Smiling is infectious

'Smile if you did it last night' was once a popular phrase written on tee shirts and badges on the back windows of cars.
For most people seeing the phrase the reaction is to smile - a guilty smile, the type that is most likely to cause others to smile or laugh when they see it.
The result was an effective tool for making people laugh and smile and chat happily about the experience...
On TV the other day they said your dominant mood is set into your body language by the age of forty. We all know people with that permanent frown don't we and they generally are the ones that cast doubt on our ideas and aspirations.
You do not want any of these people on your success team and if you work with them it is all too easy to be drawn down into their negativity. It is not about ignoring the weaknesses of your idea - it is about dealing with those weaknesses in a positive and happy way for a win-win.
That smile, that happiness, you have is a key to the success of your idea and your success in day-to-day life. Unlock your happiness every day and take it with you in all your dealings.
A trick to achieve this is to take a few moments to think when you have been most happy, a situation or set of things you found most funny and still find funny when you recall them. (preferably a situation where all the people involved found it funny) Now 'anchor' that memory to a purposeful action like scratching your little finger of your left hand with your thumb. Repeat this four times with your eyes open until you can easily recall the funny event as you scratch your little finger. Each morning give yourself a little happy boost as you smile and scratch your little finger.
Smile to win, a winning smile...
