They allow the team to witness progress and agree achievements. The review is the right time to alter how you manage your issues. The review is the right time to consider what has been achieved, how it was achieved and what is to be taken forward from those achievements. It is the right time to alter team roles and responsibilities, but not rewards. It is when you agree to carry on with the project... Hold a review as often as you need to be able to cover the cost of the ultimate worst case review outcome - eg stop the project. Never leave out review stages! |
