“Sir John Harvey-Jones
would turn in his grave!”

We are concentrating here on creating things from nothing.  Using the energy and ensthusiasm that can survive setbacks and re-evaluating the concepts and assumptions of what has gone before to move forward.

Topical for Easter, I think, and missed by most of todays chocolate eaters, is this attitude and way of dealing with the ultimate disaster; it is nothing new!

This is the true power of reflecting on what has been, what was good and felt right aswell as what was bad and felt wrong.

Every new idea and concept needs it's 'Bible' like document.  This gives the idea a reason for being and a reason for people to dedicate some or all of their lifetime to it.

This is even more poignant when you consider the local 'New Business' start up statistics show it takes three attempts on average for a person to get a business established: three times they

  1. were inspired by their idea
  2. were motivated to put energy and time plus money into it
  3. they belived it was going to work

...then they had to review what they were doing and take a new path, a new direction.

Many give up on the first attempt.  Many more give up on the second attempt.

That is why entrepreneurs are so special - they keep the energy and enthusiasm going and treat the attempts that do not work as just another hurdle they have jumped. An achievent to be proud of and build upon.

Bounce back - give Beadi a call.  Structured reflection, motivation and strategic planning based on learning are not skills everyone has.
