We all have our strengths and our weaknesses - I am the first to admit that my biggest weakness is not having a specific weakness nor strength. An all-rounder at school I was pretty good at most things and weak only on things I had no interest in at the time.
You will by now have realised that a team has people with different strengths and those strengths have to cover all the needs of a growing business if the team is product centric. Nowadays there are not many teams that do not need a complete set of skills - even sports teams have a business aspect to them.
So what are the team strengths?
Well if you take your body as a model for a business you have a pretty good start point for you to list the skills you need:
The first three are:
1. Food = Money
2. Shelter = Place or environment in which to work
3. Love = Someone interested in paying for your products - Customers
So see if you can think of the others and I'll cover each in more detail over the coming months.
