Neville ran projects for Ericsson bringing BT devlopments into Ericsson for industrialisation and support.  This included the Callminder project and ISAP IN linked products giving public voice driven administration of friends and family numbers.  Neville also oversaw the outsourcing and subcontract of works to developers in Ireland etc...He went on to manage R&D on WAP applications, Bluetooth applications such as MET Payment (using a phone to pay for goods) and Virgin Rail mobile ticket booking and transport information system solutions.

Here he formed a lasting study of teams at work using matrix management tools and corporate ICT from the big boys - SUN, HP, IBM, Oracle, Cisco, .  Coffee machine mentalities where more constructive work is achieved while getting a coffe than staff manage at their computer desks.

Pioneering the email and chat culture Ericsson as a workplace revealed the inefficiency of technologically advanced communication.  So much of what we communicate is done through visual, circumstance and context normalising that today's social networks are an addictive trap.  How often do we find ourselves typing or phoning when we would do better visiting?
