Wednesday Day 12 Glass Half Empty Wednesday, 21st February 2007

The "Glass Half Empty" View today is:

The test results (MRI and EEG) are probably as bad as they can be at this stage.

He has global damage to his brain - Cerebral Palsey

This is likely to affect every aspect of his life as he grows up right from swallowing to smiling, laughing, crying, walking, talking we just do not know how badly.

To complicate matters he is having problems passing food through his stomach and will undergo further tests to see what has to be done to alleviate this.

We are spinning like tops and will probably land sometime!

Numb is the word.

Thank you for all your support - we will probably need a bit more to get us through this.
