| Normal 6 month old! | Tuesday, 21st August 2007 |
Slow to update this page but things have moved on at pace since my last very positive report. All good news and surely as I have hair on my head Charles is doing everything a normal 6 month old should and doing it very well. To say I am shocked and people I tell are shocked is an under statement. The ability of Prayer - from the corners of the Globe to help him cope with at least 8 minutes oxygen starvation is remarkable to say the least. How's he doing - 17lb 1oz passing items from hand to hand sitting up unaided holding head steady and central when lifted by arms to the sitting position making sounds and chatting to himself laughing and giggling watching what is going on and taking an intent interest recognising people playing with his feet taking an interest in toys and copying what you show him eating well - solids three times a day plus Cathy feeds him making basic rolls and shuffles to move around on a flat surface to get to objects though not quite crawling ...etc A lovely interested lively chatty smiley baby. and Our superheroes are making Ashington First Responders their main community care job and coming out from under the arm of St Johns Ambulance next month. I think this is a fledging change and they will find their own niche in our communities. I will do them a web-site shortly and give you a link so you can see what they are up to. and The plumbing is still not done in the extension - at this rate I will end up doing it so it is done before winter. and It was our 20th wedding anniversary today - still team Clark is doing a sterling job at showing marriage is sensible and worthwhile commitment in a strong relationship. What is the trick to a long marriage - I say it is not to expect nor want your partner to change anything. Sure there are some things you can't get right before you are married, but the basic premise is to want to marry the person as they are - warts and all. (did you know Cathy had warts?? - well actually it is me with the warts, but that is another story) and Emily has a kitten named Daisy and the new tiny pet is wrecking the our elderly cat and terrorising the furniture. I saw Daisy with two charis and a table trapped in the Conservatory - she was not going to let go. Poor pipkin, Emily's rabbit, is playing second fiddle and getting barely enough attention to survive at the moment. ...I just have loads of work to get done - mostly enjoyable work though. More pictures to put on when I get a chance...
